BNYS Eligibility Criteria
1. Age limit
✔ Candidates must be at least 17 years of age at the time of admission
✔ Applicants should keep all documents ready for verification during the admission process
✔ Submission of incorrect or false information may lead to cancellation of admission and forfeiture of fees
2. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
To apply for the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) program, candidates must fulfill the following academic requirements:
- Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as compulsory subjects
- Minimum required marks:
- 50% for General & OBC category candidates
- 45% for SC & ST category candidates
- Candidates from equivalent boards must provide an Eligibility Certificate from the State Board during counseling
Course Duration
- 4.5 Years Academic Study
- 1 Year Compulsory Rotatory Internship (CRI)
Total Duration: 5.5 Years
3. INELIGIBLE CATEGORIES
The following candidates are not eligible for admission into the BNYS program:
- Students from the Vocational Stream
- Candidates below 17 years of age
- Students who have not studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2
Merit & Selection Criteria
Admission to the BNYS course is based on merit and academic performance.
- Merit is prepared based on PCB subject marks
- Marks from different boards may be normalized for fair evaluation
- Preference is given to candidates with strong academic consistency and overall performance
Additional Notes
- Candidates with equivalent qualifications from other boards must submit the required eligibility documents during counseling
- Students with grade-based mark sheets may be asked to provide an official Marks Conversion Certificate
- All submitted documents must be authentic and valid as per admission guidelines
