Opening Ceremony of Kanak Nand Kishore College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences

The Kanak Nand Kishore College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (KNK College) proudly announces the inauguration of its campus on 22nd August ,2025, marking a historic milestone in advancing holistic healthcare and education in India. Established under the aegis of the Maharaja Agrasen Naturopathy & Yoga Sadhana Research Trust (Regd.), the institution holds the distinction of being India’s first Naturopathy and Yoga Medical College affiliated to a Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University (Central University).

The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries and guests. Smt. Mridula Ji, wife of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of India, attended as the Chief Guest. The Special Guest was Prof. Murlimanohar Pathak, Vice Chancellor of S.L.B.S.N.S.U. The occasion was further honored by the presence of Shri Yogendra Chandolia, Member of Parliament (Delhi); Shri Raj Karan Khatri, Member of Legislative Assembly (Delhi); Smt. Janta Devi, Municipal Councillor (Delhi); and Shri Sunit Chauhan, Alderman, Narela Zone (Delhi) as Guests of Honour.

The event brought together dignitaries, academicians, medical professionals, and students to celebrate the shared vision of promoting naturopathy, yoga, and integrative health sciences for a healthier future. 

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Selvakumar K., Principal of KNK College, emphasized that the college has been founded with the vision to integrate traditional naturopathy and yoga with modern medical approaches—nurturing future healers who will serve society with compassion, innovation, and scientific excellence

KNK College is attached to the Balaji Naturecure Wellness Center, a 150-bedded NABH-accredited naturopathy and yoga hospital renowned for its excellence in holistic healthcare for over two decades, further strengthening the institution’s foundation.
